Breakfast buddha bowl

My friend Jackie, who owns a little vegetarian restaurant made me try her ''Buddha bowl''. It was love at first sight. A mix of granolas, rice, fruits and molasses. 
 So I first tried to make another one back home...and it was love again. It is very easy to do and I always have a nice energy after. I go running with a happy tummy. 
You can use whatever fruit or granolas you own. 
1/2 cup of cooked brown rice
Fruits (If you want my opinion,bananas have to be in there)
1/2 cup of your favorite granolas
3 tablespoons of shredded coconut
A drizzle of molasses on top (this is very important, do not omit)
1/3 cup of almond milk 
Place a little bit of fruits at the bottom of your bowl. Add the rice, granolas and rest of the fruit. Add the shredded coconut and drizzle with molasses. 
It really is that easy, I hope you like it as much as I do...!

    1. Yes, it is the best restaurant i've ever been to. She has a different menu every week. A vegetarian one and one raw vegan one. She has fantastic meals. If ever you come in Sherbrooke (Québec) you have to visit her. The name of her restaurant is ''The singing goat'' :)

  5. Wow! That's the best breakfast bowl I've ever seen! Love fruits for breakfast, that's the only thing I can have, that or a smoothie. But anything else for breakfast is too heavy for me. I'm definitely trying this! Love the new blog layout by the way! And the banner too! :)

  7. mmm this looks wonderful. I am getting hungry right before bed argh! Never tried the molasses and brown rice combo before, definitely intrigues me. Looking forward to trying it!
